The Hi-Ox Mask is a proven solution that delivers higher FiO2’s than any mask, at ANY flow. The Hi-Ox can deliver greater than 80% oxygen to the alveolar level at 8lpm and we can prove it. Delivering >90% oxygen to severely hypoxic patients is simplified by the design and performance of the Hi-Ox. Transporting patients who require very high flows is always a problem when typical E-cylinder regulators only go to 10 -15 LPM. The Hi-Ox solves that problem, by delivering a higher FiO2 with a lower flow needed as compared to other oxygen masks. The HiOx is ideal for EMT, transfer services and internal transports within the hospital. The Hi-Ox solution enables patients requiring high flow oxygen to be discharged sooner to home or hospice centres, making them treatable with oxygen concentrators. The Hi-Ox can also be used to filter the patient’s exhaled gas with an optional HEPA filter and or deliver aerosolized medications with the optional nebulizer port. Making the Hi-Ox ideal for suspect FRI patients who require supplemental oxygen.
